Hi, I’m Vladimír Bednár, a photographer living in Papradno, a small village in Slovakia surrounded by beautiful nature. Growing up here sparked my passion for landscape photography, as the serene and breathtaking views around me have always inspired me.
Over time, my interests expanded to the dynamic world of urban photography, where I found different energy and stories to tell. I love traveling, especially across Slovakia and the Czech Republic, capturing the charm of Prague, Bratislava, Trenčín, and Žilina.
For me, street photography isn’t about traveling the globe—it’s about finding unique moments and stories right where you are. I want to show that local streets can be just as inspiring as the world’s famous cities.
Seeing photos from other cultures often feels unfamiliar to me, as I may not fully understand their context. This has deepened my appreciation for capturing the essence of places I know and love.
I’ve had the honor of showcasing my work in regional exhibitions and even winning a few photography awards. These achievements have been incredibly rewarding and motivate me to keep exploring and sharing the beauty I see through my lens.
